Sashes & Belts for Rent

(technically a sash becomes a baldric when it has a holder for a scabbard)

( prices shown are for up to 30 days' rental )

If ordering belts, it helps if you can provide waist sizes.

L01-B – Basic Belt:  black or brown 2" wide - whether for sabre, rapier, broadsword or pistol, nothing fancy here. It’s just a belt, though wider than most. Shown worn in the medieval manner. $4.00

    L01-W – Basic Belt:  white 2" wide -  $4.40

L10 – Basic Sash: a very common way to start hanging a sword on someone, especially military sabres and civilian smallswords, but just as with the belt [above] some type of frog or scabbard holder is needed. $6.00

Belt/Sash Combo:  try combining the above belt and sash for a different look.

Again, you'll need to add a frog or scabbard to hold the sword, and it would also hold both straps together.

Such a combination was popular during the cavalier period.

L24 – Standard Baldric: with three buckled straps to hold the scabbard in place, it can also be used to hold a sword without a scabbard. $17.60

L08 – Web Belt: military, olive drab only. We’re not a costume company, so we can’t match specific military uniforms, but we have some generic items like this that can help give a more authentic look. $2.40

L21 – Back Baldric: this is a combination of the basic sash along with a special frog to hold a sheath or just the sword, and is a very burly look, but anatomy dictates that the sword blade can be no longer than the actor’s arm from wrist to shoulder, or the sword simply can’t be drawn (waist belt not included). $14.80

L15 – Sam Brown Sash:  add it to a basic belt for the Sam Brown military look (shown with belt and holster - not included)  $4.50
