Fencing Masks These modern style fencing masks are not meant to be a substitute for correct stage combat technique. Indeed, stage combat should not be learned while wearing a fencing mask: that usually leads to bad habits. Get the fight memorized first, then add the protective gear.
These are used items, so almost all have some make-up stains on the inside. But they are three-weapon masks and structurally sound. (The different Olympic fencing disciplines of foil, epee, and sabre have different equipment standards. "Three-weapon" masks meet or exceed the requirements for all three sports.) And, yes, these are sales prices, lower than any others, anywhere.
FYI on fencing masks in general: the metal "tongue" - the part that presses against the back of your head to hold the mask in place - is only attached to the mask at one rivet point. When fitting the mask to your head, adjustment to the tongue shape must be made at the bend, never at the rivet. |
