 L93 - Gauntlets,
short cuff: medium-thick leather
to protect the hands, but flexible for any kind of sword work - which can mean
the difference between a bruised finger and a broken, infected finger. Black
only, in small, medium, and large [and it's
better to go a little smaller than a little large. Looseness in the fingertips
causes blisters] ; 3 inch cuff.

 L96 - Gauntlets,
long cuff: for a limited time, we have the same gauntlets as above, but with
a longer stretch of leather below the wrist.
Black only, and only in medium; 6 inch cuff. $24

 L403 - ZA! Rapier Frog: a "frog" is an
open leather pocket which can hold a sword without need of a sheath or scabbard.
We have included a metal insert for that "zing" sound when drawing the weapon.
Available in black (shown) or brown.
Specify right or left hand.

not all swords work well in an angled frog. Some of the larger full-hilted
rapiers when fitted with epee blades or even schlaeger blades are "handle heavy" and tend to pitch forward
unless they are in full scabbard.]

implies, it will hold just about any wide bladed weapon

straps to hold the scabbard in place, can also be used to hold a sword without
any scabbard.

L01-B Basic Belt:
black or brown 2" wide - whether for sabre, rapier, broadsword or pistol,
nothing fancy here. Its just a belt, though wider than most. Shown worn in the
medieval manner. Be sure to specify overall length - $20

Check your props
cabinet and you
might find a few scabbards with rings but no way to attach it to the actor. The
adjustable carrier easily clips on to the scabbard, and the hook can drop onto
any sash or belt. $23
 Z01 Basic Flintlock Frog: By the
1700s, pistols are small enough to carry on ones person, but there are still
no holsters. Most were simply stuck through a belt. That's an easy way to
accidentally drop a gun, so in the mid-18th century some naval units were
specifically issued scabbard frogs as what would become the first holsters.
Although the practice was not widespread for land forces, they are extremely
practical on stage
We
created this version of supple leather so as to gently but snugly
hold the pistol in place. It almost looks like a left-handed holster until you
see that the shape has to accommodate and protect the very exposed hammer of these
early single-shot pistols. $52
