H99 - SPIKED CLUB -
It’s amazing to find the same basic weapon used
throughout history. During WWI soldiers made their own as the best weapon to use
in trench warfare. Medieval soldiers called them "holy-water sprinklers" because
of the charming visual effect after striking an enemy helmet. A whimsical group,
they. [$10.00]
H98 - WAR CLUB - A spiked club can get stuck in the clothing and flesh of
your opponent. But a studded club works well in breaking bones, even those
protected by armour. [$7.50]
H81 – BILLY CLUB –
common large city police tool for the last 200 years.
[$6.00]
H82 – SIDE-BAR NIGHT STICK - modern police standard patrol use.
While the old billy club was strictly a whacking tool, the addition of the
sidebar allows for a greater range of possible attacks, defenses, and take-downs.
[$9.00]
H88 –
CYBORG NIGHT STICK - pure fantasy, anticipating an escalating police
response in a more violent future. All steel. Really fun for experienced
choreographers.
[$23.00]
H83 – RIOT CONTROL TRUNCHEON -
Not used in the USA, but common in the rest of world for use against large scale
demonstrations. Steel rod within a
rubber casing. [$7.20]
Z39 – CAPTAIN’S HOOK - this fully fight-worthy weapon is made from the
strongest steel available. As shown – [$15.00]
H75 - COMBAT MACE - We tried to make it as light as possible, but good
arm strength is still needed for best control. [$22.50]
H74 - OVERSIZED MACE - This is a massive, two-handed, flanged headed mace.
It's very strong, but I wouldn't swing it. The flange head is made of thick steel and
is 6 inches across. The weapon is 50 inches long and weighs 5 ¼ lbs.
We have only one and it should not be used for stage combat. This
has the destructive power of a sledgehammer, and is impossible to stop once it
gets some momentum.
[$30.00]
H73 - MORNING STAR MACE – (shown single and double) is technically a
flail, and combined the best attributes of both weapons. Very difficult to
defend against, it also is hard to control, and can bounce back and knock out
the user. Do not use for stage combat. Costume only [$9.00]
H43 - CAT'O'NINE TAILS - we carry these flails with either leather
straps or felt (should you need to simulate a flogging). [$6.67]
H46 - LIVESTOCK SLAP – not only used to drive oxen, but also an effective
substitute for the standard horsewhip. [$4.00]
H45 - RIDING CROP – a strong, thin, flexible rod wrapped in leather. [$7.00]
H41 - WHIP – here’s a good rule of thumb: if you are renting a whip, it
means you don’t own one, which means you don’t know how to use one, which means
that you are going to hurt yourself if you try to crack the whip. Please don’t. [A
whip "cracks" when the end goes faster than the speed of sound. It comes back at
your face pretty fast, too.] 12
foot - $19.00; 6 foot - $14.00
H10 - CROWBAR - but unlike a real crow, this is hollow for ease of use, yet
made of steel so it sounds right in a fight. [$19.00]
H11 - SLEDGEHAMMER –
A hollow-headed replica for safer stage combat. Made of steel with a hickory
handle. [We actually had to use this to drive
stakes into hardened earth at an outdoor theatre site. Very strong.} Available
either as a three foot two handed item or as a single hand hammer [perfect for
Romeo in Act V] [$19.00]
H93 -
ALL-STEEL WAR HAMMER - perhaps the most versatile weapon in medieval
warfare, the hammer could dent even thick helmet steel, leaving a permanent
wedge digging into the opponent’s head, arm or chest, while the spike end could puncture chain
mail with ease. Fully fight worthy but be careful. Accidental contact
from a swinging war hammer can cause grievous injury. [$22.00]
H91 – IMPALING SPIKE – no
armor could stop it, but it did tend to get
stuck in the victim. [$12.00]
H14 - PICK-AX - Hollow head on this rustic tool makes it easy for any
actor to handle, and yet it is strong enough to actually break ground.
[$19.00]
