    Z39 – CAPTAIN’S HOOK - This fully fight-worthy weapon is made from the strongest steel available. These come with a left handed grip, so you can sword fight with the right hand and parry and slash with the hook on the left.  – $75

    379 – "SWITCHBLADE" – real switchblade knives are illegal in the United States. The best we can do for theatre is to take the novelty comb, remove the plastic and add a weak 4" aluminum blade. They don’t last long, so we only offer them for sale, not rent. (If you are doing Twelve Angry Men, I'm sorry to tell you that these are too fragile to stick into a table top ... or balsa wood ... or even into Styrofoam.) The plus side here is that they look and operate just like the real thing - and you can’t beat the price.  Only Weapons of Choice sells these - you can't find them anywhere else -   $6.40

    Z41 - TRICK-RELEASE HANDCUFFS - a simple push on an almost unseen lever and the clasp releases immediately. Not super sturdy, so performers should be told not to "go method" on them, but for the safety of your actors, these should be used anytime that cuffs are required on stage. These are just one step up from the toy handcuffs found at most novelty stores, and we have about 140 of them left.   $6     [this is the lowest price nationwide]

Z47 - KEYLESS MANACLES  - Finally, we have something useable for "Deathtrap", or any other show requiring an easy way for the actor to get in and out of old-time shackles. These do not "snap-shut", but they are easier to get out of than the trick release handcuffs shown above - and much sturdier. Only from Weapons of Choice      $64

We normally don't sell items from our rental stock, but from time to time there are items that are discontinued or over-stocked.  We need the room and we want these items out of here - so the prices are going to be the best anywhere. So feel free and rummage around. You never know what might end up here, so check back every once in a while to see if something you need or want pops up. All attic items are purchased "as is" - no returns.

    359 - OVERSIZED SKEAN DUE –  We blew it on this one. We bought some of these beautiful knives without calling first to check the dimensions. But who would think to make the distinctive hideaway Scottish knife at twice the regular size ?!?

Well, someone did, and we bought them. The blade width is 1 1/4", the blade length is 4 1/4", and overall length is 9".  Compare it shown with two regular Skean Dues on the left. You're not exactly going to hide this thing in the fold of your sock. But if you want them, here they are - at a ridiculously low price.  Comes with scabbard    $6 ea   [four in stock]

    Y22 - CAVALIER POWDER FLASK – this is a non-practical solid wood replica with wonderful brass work facings. The type of gunpowder carrier used during the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries.      $22   [seven in stock]

Y43-B - LEON PAUL MODERN FENCING MASK – We have discontinued all of our standard Olympic fencing gear. This is a superb mask of superior design. Vision and hearing is only minimally hindered compared to other steel mesh masks. The only drawback is with the band behind the head. It lost its elasticity very quickly, and a new piece of elastic should be sewn in as a replacement.

FYI on fencing masks in general: the metal "tongue" - the part that presses against the back of your head to hold the mask in place - is only attached to the mask at one rivet point. When fitting the mask to your head, adjustments to the tongue shape must be made only at the bend, never at the rivet. On the plus side, the entire frame is fairly pliable. You can squeeze the sides or the top and bottom to have it conform to your head.

    Modern style fencing masks are not meant to be a substitute for correct stage combat technique. Indeed, stage combat should not be learned while wearing a fencing mask: that usually leads to bad habits. Get the fight memorized and perfected first, then add the protective gear.

    This is a used items so it has  some make-up stains on the inside. But it is a three-weapon mask and structurally sound. (The different Olympic fencing disciplines of foil, epee, and sabre have different equipment standards. "Three-weapon" masks meet or exceed the requirements for all three sports.) And, yes, this is a sales prices, lower than any others, anywhere.

832 - TWO-HANDED SHAMSHIR -  Not fight worthy, but a great big shiny fantasy piece of fun. Weighs 4 lbs, has a 35" stainless steel blade, is 47" long overall and comes with a leather scabbard

    Y07 -  GAS MASK – these actually work - real, honest to goodness gas masks.    $66  [last three]

V85 - TRANSPARENT RIOT SHIELD – Made of very sturdy Lexan, and as you can see, very transparent (which is why we had to outline it in the second photo). With handgrip and forearm rest attached. 18" by 24" – $ 69   [a very rough count shows that we have about 12 available]

H83 - RIOT CONTROL TRUNCHEON – As long as you're getting the shield, you may as well get the club! These are made of hard rubber covering a thin steel rod. They are actual East German police clubs (we bought some after the wall came down). They come in two lengths, and we have ten at 31", and another seven at 26". – $ 36 each  

We have a bunch of beautiful new costume swords that we need to get rid of. Compare these prices to those found elsewhere and you'll see that there are some great deals here. We have about a dozen of each.
