The price shown by each item cover up to the first 30 days of rental counting backwards from closing night. So whether you need to have it for one hour or one month, the price is the same. be sure to read our conditions of rental - ordering Please note: many prices have gone up dramatically since last year. We've been hit by higher transportation costs as well as a drop in the dollar, adding up to much higher prices in the items we have to buy. But we also know that theatres have been hit hard by the same economic hammer, so as always we've tried to keep our rental rates as low as humanly possible and still stay in business. We know that you could rent from any other company, so we strive to provide what you want at a price that is unbeatable. So low, in fact, that your theatre can afford to have the weapons available for the first rehearsal, instead of first tech. And as you know, sooner is safer. need it for longer than 30 days? After the first 30, we only charge per day to closing night. We don't charge for the time in transit - only for the time in your hands. need it for less than 30 days? Sorry, but whether you need it for one month or only one hour, the initial rental fee is the same. We do this because we know that if we allow for reduced prices on shorter rental periods, actors won't get the props into their hands until just before opening, and that just isn't safe. So order early. Anyway, our monthly rate is cheaper than most places' weekly rate. see something in rentals that you want to purchase? Give us a call. Some of the items might be available for sale, or at least we can let you know who sells them. "AAAH! I don't know what I need!!!" Don't worry. We at Weapons of Choice furnish over 2,000 shows nationwide each year with weapons, but we also know that it’s not enough just to provide props. Since historic weaponry isn’t covered in most theatre classes, any information we can supply as to type of weapon or fighting style is done so gladly, even if you don’t rent from us. why pay the same rate for an inexpensive sword as for an expensive one? Other places charge the same flat fee for whatever sword you order. We offer a wide variety at different prices so you can save money. All of us at Weapons of Choice want one thing: to make sure that your show is a success. We are pledged to do whatever we can to make sure that that happens. The price for each item shown is the first month’s rate, which is also the minimum fee, even if it is only used for one day. Longer rentals are pro-rated per day, but at only one half the first month's rate. All items must be returned within 15 days of closing night. Credit cards accepted for rentals and sales, as are institutional purchase orders but only after a confirmed phone or e-mail order order.Reminder: these are rental items. That means that other actors have handled them before. That means that they have been dropped, mistreated, abused and broken - battered, shattered, and tattered. All have been repaired many times over and usually show it. No pristine models available for our rental items. "So why are your boxes so battered" We're trying to leave a smaller footprint.
